Therapy for Therapists
Learn to care for yourself as well as you care for others.
Therapists (and others in caretaking roles) get burnt out. You get numb. You find it hard, day in, day out, to be responsible for the care of others. It feels heavy; the work feels rote. Sometimes you forget why you chose to do this in the first place. It seems impossible to prioritize anything other than taking care of other people. I can help you to decrease burnout, re-connect with what you love about being a therapist (or a social worker, or a nurse, or a parent), and nurture and cultivate a sense of self outside of your work identity. Telehealth sessions and Friday openings are available to facilitate the needs of a busy therapist who is interested in increased privacy for their therapy sessions. Let’s talk more about how to get you back on track
